In the Massive Garden of Edam all tucked away,

In a faraway corner, where children all forget to play,

Is a quiet wild garden of teddy bear flowers all in bloom,

Who do their best growing by the light of the moon.

At first they bloom as tiny gummy bears, quite delicious to the tongue,

Then they soften into fuzzy knit bears about as big as your thumb.

Then they blossom to full size of an assorted variety.

Some stay small, while others grow as big as a full grown man of notoriety.

Most of the bears bloom in different shades of brown,

But there is the occasional blossom in shades of pinks, oranges, purples, reds and greens around.

Some teddy bears have fur

As soft as a rabbit or as rough as sand paper.

Some have fabric eyes and/or a nose,

While others have beads with eyes then can open wide and close.

And once a year, when the season is here,

Professional workers come in and clear,

By picking the fully formed bears from their vines.

To be sold in the marketplace, where people visit and dine.

And children can take the bears to their beds,

To protect them from nightmares, that play in their heads
